I was really excited to feature a couple new items for this shoot. I've been a total sucker for tassel loafers for a while now, and finally pulled the trigger on a suede pair. It is only mere coincidence, however, that they match (almost exactly) the shade and tone of my recently thrifted double-breasted blazer.

Another kick I've been on lately is a wide lapel which harkens back to old school Italian tailoring that has become ever so prevalent among many menswear enthusiasts today. I don't know how big this look will become in the U.S., but looking at photos from the last several Pitti Uomo events, it's easy to see how popular this look has become overseas.
