I just returned from sunny Las Vegas yesterday to a (very much welcome) gloomy scene here in Dallas.

Now I must admit: while I consciously kept this look pretty subdued from a color standpoint, I kinda lucked out with how closely the tones of each color match one another. I don't know if it's the cloud-filtered light, but all my brown pieces (my shirt, watch strap, iPad sleeve, and to a lesser degree-- my shoes) took on a very similar, cool brown tone which was a pleasant surprise. The color tones of my trousers and handkerchief even started matching one another. Either way, I'll take these happy accidents any day. Perhaps this is why I love gloomy weather so much...

Nah, it's because it invites my inner homebody to be lazy around the house. By the way, is it fall yet? (Don't kill me, Angelee!)
